    Jennifer Hsiao is a practicing attorney in California, and she currently specializes in Labor and Employment Law at O’Hagan Meyer. Ms. Hsiao works with both small and large businesses in employment law litigation as well as providing legal advice and counsel according to each company’s needs. Prior to joining the firm, she developed a background in Labor and Employment Law, Personal Injury Law, Criminal Law, and Family and Reproductive Law.

    Ms. Hsiao has a strong passion and background in social activism, and remains heavily involved in community affairs, including working with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office to facilitate the growth of cultural and economic resources for Asian American professionals and associations in the United States. Her mission is to build a bridge not only between 1st and 2nd Generation Asian Americans, but also between Asian Americans and their government abroad. Most notably among her recent experiences include serving on the executive boards of Taiwanese American Lawyers Association and Taiwanese American Professionals-Los Angeles, as well as co-founding its Orange County chapter.

    Ms. Hsiao graduated with Honors from the University of Chicago, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Human Rights. In Chicago, she co-founded the University of Chicago Coalition for Immigrant Rights, with the hopes of furthering political and economic rights for the immigrant community. Finally, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served in the San Diego International Law Journal and as President of Business Law Society.

    Ms. Hsiao previously clerked for the United States District Court for the Southern District of California; the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO); the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and the Public Defender’s Office in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Riverside.
