    Seeking a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must be familiar with practice areas including but not limited to: Labor & Employment, Class & Collective Actions, professional liability and D&O.

    Duties include but are not limited to drafting correspondence, editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts, drafting discovery, scheduling depositions, preparing materials for trial, interacting with clients, file maintenance, travel arrangements, expense reports, time entry and maintaining attorney calendars.     Job description

    Seeking a full-time Paralegal to perform a variety of complex duties with limited supervision. The individual in this role will assist a growing team of attorneys focusing on defense litigation with an emphasis on premises and products liability.

    Primary duties might include but are not limited to:

    • Draft responses to written discovery in coordination with corporate clients and their discovery teams
    • Support legal team by requesting, analyzing and summarizing medical records
    • Prepare, send and follow up on subpoenas
    • Claim investigation including interviewing witnesses, taking statements, gathering documents and evidence, etc.
    • Abstract medical records, organize and prepare both outline and narrative summaries of the records for internal use and for presentation to the client.
