Joe’s practice includes representation of clients in a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including labor and employment litigation in federal court, state court and administrative agencies involving Title VII, New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Act, the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law, the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, and numerous common law claims such as those involving breach of contract, wrongful discharge, and non-compete.
Joe also provides guidance to clients on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws and assists clients in drafting necessary employment documents including employee policies, employee contracts, and severance agreements.
Throughout his career, Joe has worked relentlessly to obtain positive outcomes for his clients, including through successful summary judgment motions and motions to dismiss in localities from Philadelphia County to the Middle District of Pennsylvania, while also striving to be an accessible and valuable advisor to his clients in each and every way he can.
Joe lives in Philadelphia, and when he is not watching one of the various Philadelphia teams which routinely break his heart, he can often be found on the beach in Surf City, Long Beach Island.
