Elizabeth A. Petersen is a highly skilled attorney with a well-rounded background in litigation. With licenses to practice law in Oregon, California, and Colorado, Elizabeth joins O’Hagan Meyer’s Portland office with a broad range of legal knowledge across multiple states.
Elizabeth’s experience includes resolution of complex commercial conflicts, labor and employment disputes, personal injury claims, real estate issues, claims against governmental entities, and intellectual property infringement. Her exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to develop creative arguments and solutions to complicated problems make her a powerful advocate for her clients.
Raised in southern California, Elizabeth attended UC Berkeley as a Regents’ and Chancellors’ Scholar, where she earned her Bachelor's degree with Honors before attending law school at Pepperdine University on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While at Pepperdine, Elizabeth participated in several overseas and domestic experiential programs, including an international economic law seminar in Augsburg, Germany, an International Moot Court competition in London, and internships at an international organization and a federal agency in Washington, D.C. Elizabeth earned her J.D. and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law in 2018.
When she is not working, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, alpine skiing, and spending time outdoors with her family.
