David Davidson is a trusted resource and advocate to the professional service community (design, construction, environmental, real estate, and insurance) and is passionately committed to collaboration in their long-term strategic success. A seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Davidson oversees a broad range of litigation matters originating out of the firm’s Orange County and San Francisco offices.
Respected as a trial lawyer, he also provides general legal counsel to publicly and privately held companies across a range of industries, including construction, real estate, hospitality and manufacturers. Clients have come to rely on his keen litigation experience as well as his skill in negotiating favorable results. His practice is focused on the vigorous defense of manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and individuals involved in products liability; sporting arms, ammunition, and outdoor products; toxic torts; professional liability; and environmental disputes. Mr. Davidson’s clients have included Fortune 500 companies, firearms and ammo manufacturers, design professionals, real estate agents, brokers, contractors, developers, and entertainers.
Mr. Davidson has built his reputation on handling high exposure troubled matters and has become a trusted resource and counselor to his clients. In that capacity, he focuses on contractual, risk management and litigation issues affecting the design, construction, environmental, and real estate professional community. He does so both as outside general counsel to many firms as well as short term interventions in pursuit of strategic solutions and remedies. Mr. Davidson also provides in-house training seminars to clients to help them understand changes in the law, trends in the industry and contractual risks.
Mr. Davidson received his L.L.M. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College (2001), his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law (1999), and his B.A. in criminal justice from California State University of San Bernardino (1996). During law school, he served as senior articles editor for the Chapman Law Review.
