The O’Hagan Meyer Orange County team has been busy growing over the last year. We are proud to count so many talented attorneys as colleagues.

Welcome David Davidson, Partner; and Associate Attorneys Patrick Yoo, Jenna Griffin, Sanam Aghnami, Nahal Barahmand, Nicki Karim, and Jonathan Stilz.

O’Hagan Meyer welcomed David Davidson as a Partner with our team in July.  David’s extensive track record spans 20 years across practice areas including defense of architects and engineers, construction law, contracts, environmental law, government contracts, litigation, natural resources, personal injury, professional liability, real estate, and toxic torts. David received his J.D. from Chapman University, School of law and a Master of Laws in energy, environment, and natural resources law from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College.

O’Hagan Meyer welcomed Patrick Yoo back to the California team in July once again as an Associate Attorney now in Orange County. In addition to continuing his securities litigation/professional liability practice, Patrick returns to his roots in labor and employment, an area he previously practiced in as a plaintiff’s lawyer, as well as an extern for the Cornell Law School Labor Clinic.

Jenna Griffin joined O’Hagan Meyer at the end of May having already litigated nearly 100 cases in state and federal court as an Associate Attorney. She has also arbitrated a wide variety of issues including business disputes, trade secret and unfair competition matters, and breach of contract matters. Jenna also counsels her clients on compliance with California and federal regulatory laws.

Sanam Aghnami had established a stellar reputation within the Labor & Employment practice at an AmLaw200 firm before joining O’Hagan Meyer as an Associate Attorney in April. While her focus is on employer representation in wage and hour class action and PAGA matters, she also works on a variety of single-plaintiff disputes such as discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. Sanam holds multiple degrees from USC and a JD from Loyola Law School. She speaks both Farsi and Turkish.

Nahal Barahmand began representing employers as an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment practice at O’Hagan Meyer in January. Her work includes defending claims for civil rights violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, unfair business practices, individual and class action wage & hour disputes. At Loyola Law School, Nahal was an active member of the student body and served as the president of the Jewish Law Student Association.

Nicki Karim joined the O’Hagan Meyer team in January as an Associate Attorney representing employers in class action wage and hour cases as well as single plaintiff employment cases including discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. While studying at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Nicki served as the President of the school’s South Asian Association and as a member of the Muslim Association.

Jonathan Stilz celebrates his first anniversary as an Associate Attorney with O’Hagan Meyer having already built on his extensive experience defending corporations in high-exposure, employment litigation and arbitration. His deep understanding of business and employment law enables Jonathan to advise and represent employers on their labor and employment issues with an eye towards the practical realities that his clients face.

“We’re very glad to be attracting top talent to join our expanding team,” says Sarah Goldstein, managing partner of the Orange County office.
