- Professional Overview Vickie Grasu focuses her practice on Labor and Employment litigation and administrative proceedings. She advises and represents employers on a wide variety of employment issues including wrongful discharge, retaliation claims, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour claims. Vickie also works with in-house counsel and human resources personnel to provide advice and assistance in the areas of employee discipline, terminations, layoffs, and preventative measures such a policies and handbooks. Vickie routinely represents clients class actions and complex litigation in state and federal court. Ms. Grasu has vast experience in the area of wage and hour class actions. Vickie has defended a significant number of wage and hour class actions over the last several years. Ms. Grasu has also defended class action lawsuits brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). In addition to her labor and employment practice, Vickie represents contractors, trade sub-contractors, construction managers and engineers in actions involving tort liability, breach of contract, and construction defect actions. Vickie also defends tort and contract claims, including premises liability and negligence. Vickie obtained a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine School of Law’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and has mediated and arbitrated numerous matters in her areas of practice. Vickie is admitted to practice before all California state courts and all U.S. District Courts in California.
