Nathaly Martinez is an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment Litigation Group at O’Hagan Meyer in Sacramento, California. Ms. Martinez represents clients in a variety of employment matters including wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation claims.

Prior to O’Hagan Meyer, Ms. Martinez worked for a reputable workers compensation defense firm representing the interests of insurance companies, third party administrators, self-insured employers, and public agencies. The growing intersection between employment and workers compensation matters makes Ms. Martinez especially skilled in the protection of our client’s interest under both workers’ compensation and employment laws.

In terms of education, Ms. Martinez graduated from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. She obtained her juris doctorate with concentrations in International and Business Law. During her time in law school, Ms. Martinez studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria and had the pleasure of taking courses from former Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Additionally, Ms. Martinez worked abroad in Madrid, Spain drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in Spanish.

Prior to law school, Ms. Martinez attended Trinity College Dublin in Ireland where she obtained her master’s in philosophy in International Peace Studies. Her dissertation entitled, “The Perpetual Cycle of Poverty: Minorities Disadvantages in the US Education System” was honored with distinction. Ms. Martinez attended the University of the Pacific for her undergraduate studies.
