- Professional Overview Keyana Young is an Associate Attorney at O’Hagan Meyer’s Downtown Los Angeles office, specializing in Labor & Employment law. She has a strong background in city and municipal law, having previously worked on Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) discrimination claims for the City of Los Angeles' Civil Rights Department. Keyana also has experience from her time at a plaintiff-side firm, where she handled cases involving professional liability, premises liability, product liability, tort litigation, and mass torts. Recently, she has transitioned to defending clients in a wide range of employment law matters, bringing a unique perspective shaped by her experience with plaintiff-side firms, the City of Los Angeles, and an AmLaw 200 firm. A native of Florida, Keyana earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and her Master’s degree from Florida State University. Keyana earned her law degree from Pepperdine University’s School of Law and a Master’s in Dispute Resolution through Pepperdine’s Straus Institute, allowing her to craft skills and strategies within mediation, arbitration, and negotiation. While at Pepperdine, Keyana is proud to have led the Black Law Student Association as President and was solely awarded the 2024 Faith and Justice Student Award at Pepperdine’s Annual Belonging Awards ceremony for her integrity and commitment to uplifting classmates throughout her time at the law school. In her free time Keyana enjoys watching football and baseball, whale watching, and traveling.
