Kevin Mackin represents corporate entities as defense counsel as a member of Detroit’s Labor and Employment Litigation practice. Mr. Mackin, in his time at O’Hagan Meyer, has successfully defended his clients in EEOC and Michigan Civil Rights matters involving allegations of discrimination as well as in suits involving wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation, and politically motivated employment decisions.
In addition to his Labor and Employment practice, Mr. Mackin serves as defense counsel in wrongful death, negligence, and premises liability matters with a focus on assisted living and caregiving facilities.
Prior to his career at O’Hagan Meyer, Mr. Mackin enjoyed a successful tenure as a Criminal Defense attorney, serving as lead trial counsel in several high-profile homicide and narcotic trafficking cases in Western Michigan.
