Joty Jhaaj is an Associate Attorney in the San Francisco Office of O’Hagan Meyer and is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice.

Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Joty worked in the System Investigations Unit at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Oakland office.

Joty earned her Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature with an Interdisciplinary Emphasis from University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco.

During law school, Joty served on the first board for the South Asian Law Student Association and was a member of the Labor and Employment Law Student Association. Joty was also an Articles Editor for USF’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal. In her final year of law school, Joty externed in-house for Shipt, LLC with the labor and employment group. Her prior externships include two semesters at the EEOC’s San Jose Local Office as an Investigative extern and an International Externship with Dentons in the Shanghai, China Office.
