Joty Jhaaj is an Associate Attorney in the San Francisco Office of O’Hagan Meyer and is a member of the Labor & Employment, Wage and Hour, and Class & Collective Action Practice Groups. Joty represents clients in a variety of industries and has successfully handled large-scale cases involving wage and hour violations in addition to multi-party complex litigation and single-plaintiff employment matters.
Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Joty worked in the System Investigations Unit at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Oakland office.
Joty earned her Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature with an Interdisciplinary Emphasis in Humanities from University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco, where she served on the first board for the South Asian Law Student Association and was a member of the Labor and Employment Law Student Association. Joty was also an Articles Editor for USF’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal.
