Denean K. Sturino
Partner
- Professional Overview
After spending many years as an associate and partner at a large firm, Denean packed her bag of clients and joined the O’Hagan Meyer team. Her vast experience in the product litigation arena made her a perfect fit, but more importantly, O’Hagan Meyer was the perfect fit for her clients who loved the big firm lawyers with small firm service.
Whether large or small, fast or slow, there is no product Denean cannot defend. With her keen sense of engineering concepts, Denean has the amazing ability to translate those concepts to jurors. Denean’s passion for her client and her client’s cause sets her apart from most and breeds a belief in her case that no juror can ignore, as exemplified by the numerous favorable jury verdicts. Denean’s experience in product liability litigation, has touched upon almost every aspect that could potentially involve her client or her client’s product, including product liability, breach of warranty, consumer fraud, deceptive trade practices, premises liability, contribution and indemnification, trademark infringement, trade dress infringement, invasion of privacy (right to publicity) and patent infringement, to name a few. Denean’s vast “in-the-trenches” litigation and trial experience has made her the go-to partner on other types of complex cases, including directors and officers, employment, breach of fiduciary duty and commercial litigation cases. Occasionally, Denean is even called in to monitor difficult defense cases of which O’Hagan Meyer monitors and oversees strategy.
