    Arian Hashemi is a commercial litigation associate in the New York City office of O’Hagan Meyer.

    Mr. Hashemi represents clients in complex commercial, business, financial services, securities, and professional liability litigation. His practice includes contract disputes, class and collective actions, directors and officers matters, consumer financial services litigation, securities and investment-related disputes, and litigation involving corporate governance, fraud, fiduciary-duty, and debtor-creditor issues.

    Mr. Hashemi also handles healthcare-related disputes, insurance agent and broker defense, labor and employment matters, wage and hour litigation, and professional liability matters involving architects, engineers, and other professional clients. His experience includes litigation involving financial institutions, healthcare entities, medical providers, employers, business owners, officers, directors, and other corporate clients.

    His litigation experience includes dispositive motion practice, discovery disputes, appellate briefing, civil RICO claims, securities fraud allegations, cryptocurrency and digital asset disputes, healthcare-related disputes involving fraud allegations, lease and contract disputes, and complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts.

    Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Mr. Hashemi accrued substantial courtroom and litigation experience, including most recently practicing at the New York City office of a national firm, where he handled all aspects of complex civil and commercial litigation across New York and New Jersey.

    Mr. Hashemi earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2021. During law school, he developed meaningful courtroom experience through an internship with a District Attorney’s Office, including completing a felony jury trial.

    In his free time, Mr. Hashemi enjoys traveling, dining, weightlifting, and spending time with his family and his dog, Max, an Australian Shepherd-Catahoula mix.
