Angelica Martinez Rodriguez is an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment Litigation Group ant O’Hagan Meyer in Sacramento, California. Ms. Martinez Rodriguez represents clients in a variety of employment matters including wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
Prior to O’Hagan Meyer, Ms. Martinez Rodriguez practiced immigration law and workers’ compensation law. After law school Ms. Martinez Rodriguez became the Lead Attorney for the Humanitarian Department at a Bay Area based law firm. While working there she worked closely with clients to meet their immigration objectives. Afterwards, she moved to Sacramento where she worked for a worker’s compensation law firm where she represented insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all areas of state workers’ compensation law. These professional experiences helped Ms. Martinez Rodriguez learn the importance of strong client communication, responsiveness, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail to obtain the best outcomes for clients.
During law school, Ms. Martinez Rodriguez interned at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, externed at the Office of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, was a research assistant, and participated in the Immigration Law Clinic at Santa Clara Law.
Prior to law school, Ms. Martinez attended UC Berkeley double majoring in Political Economy and Legal Studies.
