The DuPage County Bar Association is hosting Hot Topics in Employment Law: The Impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic, a webinar presented by Chicago associate Jenee Gaskin and Yolanda Carrillo from the Illinois Department of Labor Thursday, February 18th at 12pm CST. This webinar is eligible for 1 MCLE credit hour.

Jenee and Yolanda will discuss some issues employers and workers have faced as a result of the ongoing pandemic. They will cover the WARN Act’s requirements and exceptions, workplace safety in terms of employer-mandated COVID-19 vaccinations, the Illinois Wage Payment Collection Act and its applicability to furloughs, and the Equal Pay Act and the protections offered by the law.
