Kristine S. Phillips and Laura K. Musick won a motion recently, to enforce their client’s settlement agreement with 19 plaintiffs. A single Plaintiff backed out of the settlement after 3 months of negotiations. Said Plaintiff spent the next 16 months attempting to renegotiate the settlement agreement. After an evidentiary hearing wherein Kristine and Laura presented the testimony of Plaintiff’s counsel, the Judge granted their client’s motion to enforce, binding all parties to the settlement agreement.
