Mr. Cobb has over thirty-four years of trial and litigation experience having appeared as counsel in all Courts in Delaware as well as appearing before various Administrative Boards.
Over the majority of his career, Mr. Cobb has represented corporations and individuals in a wide variety of matters including: directors and officers liability, shareholder litigation as well as employment and commercial matters. Mr. Cobb is a member of our Directors and Officers team and Employment team.
Mr. Cobb has presented clients in front of the Delaware Court of Chancery and all the courts of Delaware. In addition to his defense of individuals and corporations in the Court of Chancery, his experience also includes defense of wrongful discharge claims; breach of employment contracts and restrictive covenants; disability discrimination claims under the ADA; age discrimination claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act; actions filed under the Family Medical Leave Act and Fair Labor Standards Act; and claims of unlawful harassment and race and gender discrimination under Title VII and Section 1981.
Mr. Cobb has previously served as national trial counsel for a manufacturer in a product liability matters and in that role was involved in numerous expert depositions and trials in various jurisdictions throughout the country. Mr. Cobb has also defended insurance coverage and declaratory judgment actions on behalf of insurance companies. Mr. Cobb has defended multi-million dollar construction defect claims on behalf of general contractors and developers.
As a part of his representation of manufacturers, Mr. Cobb has also defended claims for exposure to benzene, lead, talc, and other alleged toxic substances.

Raymond W. Cobb received his J.D. from Villanova School of Law in 1982 and his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1979.
