Meredith T. Bestland is an associate attorney in O’Hagan Meyer’s Alexandria, Virginia office where she defends complex civil litigation in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Her practice focuses on general liability, premises liability, professional liability, and medical malpractice, representing insurers, business entities, property owners, and licensed professionals.
Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, Meredith practiced at several respected defense firms in the region, where she defended professional malpractice claims, HOA and community organization disputes, employer liability matters, premises liability matters, and construction defects matters. Meredith began her career in immigration law defending individuals in removal proceedings.
Meredith earned her J.D. from Penn State Law where she served as an advanced clinical student for the Center for Immigrant’s Rights. She received her B.S. in Psychology and International Affairs from Florida State University.
Meredith is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of the District of Columbia Defense Lawyers Association.
