Matthew is an Associate in O’Hagan Meyer’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the Intellectual Property and Sports & Entertainment practice groups. He works on a wide range of intellectual property and sports matters, covering everything from trademark and copyright issues to complex sports law cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked on primarily intellectual property matters for an AmLaw 100 law firm. Matthew also clerked for the Honorable Bernard G. Skomal of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the Honorable Scott H. Yun in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Additionally, he was an Assistant Editor for the ABA’s Landslide Magazine, which is a magazine dedicated to the sharing of intellectual property knowledge and experience acquired on the frontlines of practice, business, and the arts and sciences.
Matthew earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles where he gained extensive experience with intellectual property, entertainment, and right of publicity law. Matthew earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
