Marie Avery is an Associate Attorney in the Labor and Employment Litigation Group at O’Hagan Meyer in Fresno, California. As a strategic litigator and advisor, Ms. Avery works closely with employers to provide practical solutions to a wide range of workplace issues. Specifically, she handles wage and hour claims and defends businesses in FEHA-related matters, such as discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Avery advises clients on developing and implementing preventive policies designed to minimize legal risks in the workplace.

Ms. Avery earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with a concentration in Environmental and Water Law. Prior to law school, she graduated from Fresno State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
