Marc A. Gwekoh is an Associate Attorney in O’Hagan Meyer’s Chicago office. Marc focuses his practice on defending clients in construction, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, premises liability and tort litigation. Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Marc focused his practice on insurance defense, landlord-tenant matters, municipal, civil rights, and transportation law, specifically involving claims of catastrophic/serious bodily injuries, property damage, and cargo loss. He also has extensive experience in defending corporate clients in workers’ compensation matters.
Marc’s litigation experience includes complex state litigation, as well as dispositive motions and appeals. Notably, Marc successfully defended a client in the Second District Court of Appeals, reversing the trial court’s decision, granting a motion to enforce settlement. He is a member of the Illinois Bar, as well as the Northern and Central District of Illinois.
Marc attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received a Bachelor of Arts and then attended the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly known as the John Marshall Law School) where he received his Juris Doctor.
