Jamie B. Palfai concentrates his legal practice in the areas of securities law, financial services, and business-related litigation. He has coverage and monitoring experience in the D&O and financial related lines. In his early years, Mr. Palfai served as a senior enforcement attorney with the Arizona Securities Division, where he investigated and prosecuted several high profile securities fraud cases. In 2005, Mr. Palfai accepted an in-house position as corporate counsel for a Phoenix-based broker-dealer firm. As corporate counsel, Mr. Palfai handled hundreds of consumer-initiated and industry- related disputes and assisted in the business operations of one of the country’s largest independent broker-dealer networks. In 2009, Mr. Palfai joined Baugh Dalton, a Chicago-based law firm specializing in insurance-related matters and financial services litigation. As a partner with Baugh Dalton, Mr. Palfai successfully defended individual and corporate clients in countless FINRA arbitration claims, state court actions, and federal court actions throughout the country.
In March 2017, Mr. Palfai became a partner with Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, where he continued to provide a broad array of seasoned and cost-effective legal services to corporate and individual clients in the financial services industry, insurance industry, and beyond.
Mr. Palfai qualified for his Series 7 (general securities representative) and Series 24 (general securities principal) through FINRA in 2002.
