Hugo Garcia is an Associate in the Downtown Los Angeles office of O'Hagan Meyer and a member of the Labor & Employment practice group. Mr. Garcia’s practice focuses on representing clients in civil litigation matters involving workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Garcia advised and represented private and public sector unions and their members in state and federal litigation, arbitration hearings, and administrative proceedings, including before the National Labor Relations Board. He handled disputes across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, government, healthcare, tech, entertainment, telecommunications, and the service industry.
Before attending law school, Mr. Garcia was involved in labor policy campaigns, including working on legislative bills and amendments with the labor policy team in the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions under Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) in Washington D.C. He is fluent in Spanish.
