Emily graduated from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School where she focused her studies on employment and disability law. Her passion for employment and disability led her to join the Civil Rights Law Journal. While she was in law school, she was able to gain experience through various clerkships in Northern Virginia, including participating in multiple jury trials, an arbitration, and assisting with drafting an appellate opening brief for the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, Emily was a law clerk at a small business and employment law firm in Fairfax, VA, where she contributed to a wide range of employment law and litigation matters.
