Emily Burke-Rodríguez focuses her practice on business and intellectual property law, with experience managing complex litigation, brand protection, and commercial disputes. Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, Emi practiced at Smith Duggan Cornell & Gollub, LLP, where she handled all phases of high-stakes litigation through discovery, trial preparation, and resolution, working closely with expert witnesses and trial teams. While in law school, Emily advised on corporate governance, employment, and data privacy issues through roles with Liberty Mutual Insurance, Recorded Future, and The Kraft Group.
She earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, concentrating in intellectual property, and holds a B.S. in Political Science and Music, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University. When Emi is not in the office, she enjoys live music, gardening, and salsa dancing, and is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian and Portuguese.
