    Elizabeth Del Cid is a Partner at the New York City office of O’Hagan Meyer.

    Ms. Del Cid is a highly skilled litigator who handles all aspects of complex civil and criminal litigation from coast to coast. She has taken the lead in numerous high-exposure lawsuits on both the plaintiff’s and defense sides in New York, the Midwest, and California. Her practice focuses on consumer law litigation, civil rights advocacy, sex abuse and molestation, and bet-the-business financial disputes in federal and state courts and arbitration throughout the country. Elizabeth also advises directors and officers in business matters, and condominium and cooperative boards in real estate disputes.

    Ms. Del Cid manages and oversees all aspects of a case from inception to resolution including the initial pleadings, discovery, written and oral arguments, settlement negotiations, and trial. She has prepared and prevailed by way of dispositive motions for her clients, both individuals and institutions. In addition, throughout the course of her over 16-year career, she has counseled, prepared, interviewed and deposed countless witnesses in English and Spanish for regulatory, compliance and court-initiated matters.

    Prior to joining O'Hagan Meyer, Ms. Del Cid honed her advocacy skills as a trial attorney and partner at national law firms in New York and California. She represented clients in class actions, coordinated proceedings, business tort, RICO, fraud, bankruptcy, blockchain, financial services, securities and employment matters. Ms. Del Cid also drafted and enforced public policy and laws in California. Before that, she externed for the Honorable Nancy C. Dreher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

    Since 2016, Ms. Del Cid has served as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

    Ms. Del Cid is a frequent speaker and author in her industry in both English and Spanish. Her contributions to the profession have been recognized by the American Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, and Super Lawyers.
