Christina M. Guerin is a member of the Labor & Employment and Professional Liability Practices. Ms. Guerin’s employment practice focuses on the defense of private and public entity employers in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and related claims. Ms. Guerin represents employers before public agencies, in state and federal court, in arbitration, and in pre-litigation resolution.
Ms. Guerin counsels and assists employers in a wide variety of matters, including proper termination procedures, resolution of employee disputes, and drafting risk management protocols.
Ms. Guerin is a certified Civil Rights Investigator through the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA). Ms. Guerin brings her breadth of experience and knowledge from years investigating discrimination, harassment, and related claims under Title VII and the FEHA to the nuanced investigations of Title IX and other educational institution-related claims.
Ms. Guerin’s professional liability practice focuses on the defense of attorneys and accountants. Ms. Guerin has obtained judgment in favor of numerous professional liability clients, from demurrers sustained without leave to amend, to anti-SLAPP motions and motions for summary judgment, and through binding arbitration. Ms. Guerin also has experience representing accountants in investigations conducted by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ms. Guerin enjoys spending time with her two children, reading autobiographies, and laughing out loud listening to her favorite podcast.
