Brian R. DeMocker is an associate attorney in the Denver office of O’Hagan Meyer and a member of the Labor & Employment practice group. His practice centers around the defense of employers and businesses, including with claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure-to-accommodate, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and violations of wage and hour law. Mr. DeMocker handles all stages of litigation and pre-litigation, from the administrative phase to litigation and through trial and beyond. He ensures that his clients are well-informed at every step of the process. Mr. DeMocker also advises clients on strategy, both during and aside from court cases. Outside of employment law, Mr. DeMocker also has experience in trade secrets matters and complex business litigation.
Mr. DeMocker has litigated multiple trials, both in court and in arbitration, and has handled depositions. He also has experience defending employers on appeal after achieving victory at trial.
A graduate of The George Washington University Law School and The University of Colorado – Boulder (sko Buffs), Mr. DeMocker spends his free time enjoying the outdoors during every season (hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and running) with his wife and his Australian Shepherd dog. You may also find him playing board games, both new and old, homebrewing beer (he swears the beer is supposed to look like that), and continuously discovering new hobbies, some of which even last more than a month or two.
