Alecsandria (“Alecs”) Cook is an Associate Attorney in the Philadelphia office, where she represents clients in a wide range of employment law matters. Her practice includes claims involving discrimination based on race, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, and age, as well as cases concerning harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, and breach of contract.
Before joining O’Hagan Meyer, Alecs gained substantial litigation experience at a regional law firm, where she defended a diverse array of clients including but not limited to multinational corporations, government entities, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and private individuals in complex matters involving labor and employment law, professional liability, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage. As part of her practice, Alecs has also advised clients on non-litigation matters and has drafted separation agreements that have secured asset protection, facilitated the transfer of intellectual property, and resulted in favorable monetary outcomes.
Alecs previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tamika Washington in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and completed a post-doctoral litigation fellowship with the Rutgers Law Associates where she served as first-chair trial counsel in multiple matters.
