    Adi Kanlic is an Attorney in the Chicago office.  His practice focuses on all aspects of business formation and structuring, media & entertainment law, commercial real estate transactions, and a variety of insurance defense litigation matters.

    Adi has represented clients in numerous employment matters to date while at the firm. He has defended clients in all types of employment lawsuits and administrative complaints filed in state and federal courts. Adi has handled everything from wage and hour claims, to claims of discrimination based on all protected classes, including numerous sexual harassment lawsuits.

    Adi has also handled numerous lawsuits around the country brought against companies under the Americans with Disabilities Act related to website accessibility.  He has a wealth of knowledge regarding website accessibility and has advised numerous companies on how to help make their websites more accessible.

    Adi also represents content creators and providers including authors, songwriters, recording artists, and tech startups in various transaction matters in the entertainment industry.  In addition to contract preparation, analysis, and negotiation, Adi has assisted clients with protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, and licensing or exploiting their creative works.  He was a keynote speaker for the Media and Entertainment Law Committee at the Chicago Bar Association regarding “Acquiring Performing Artist Visas for Foreign Artists Performing in the United States”.  Adi currently serves as Secretary of the Intellectual Property Subcommittee for the Illinois State Bar Association.
