Mr. Cobb has over thirty-four years of litigation experience. Over the majority of his career, Mr. Cobb has represented corporations, insurance carriers, and individuals in a wide variety of personal injury and property damage cases including premises liability; automobile and trucking accidents; and general negligence claims. Mr. Cobb has also defended insurance coverage and declaratory judgment actions on behalf of insurance companies. Mr. Cobb has defended multi-million dollar construction defect property claims on behalf of general contractors and developers. Mr. Cobb has previously served as national trial counsel for an asbestos manufacturer and in that role was involved in numerous expert depositions and trials in various jurisdictions throughout the country.
In addition to defending asbestos personal injury claims, Mr. Cobb has also defended claims for exposure to benzene, lead, talc, and other alleged toxic substances. Mr. Cobb has handled numerous worker’s compensation claims and ancillary claims in Delaware. Mr. Cobb has appeared as counsel in all Courts in Delaware as well as appearing before various Administrative Boards.
Raymond W. Cobb received his J.D. from Villanova School of Law in 1982 and his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1979.
