Ryan Benson is an associate attorney in the Chicago Office. His practice focuses on a variety of litigation matters including employment, commercial litigation, disability discrimination and technology law.
Ryan has represented clients in over 100 employment matters to date while at the firm that include Charges of Discrimination being investigated by The Illinois Department of Human Rights, Charges of Discrimination being investigated by The Equal Employment Opportunity Center and a variety of different types of employment lawsuits filed mostly in Illinois state or federal courts.
In addition to litigation, Ryan also advises clients on many corporate transactional matters.
Ryan is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. Ryan has also represented clients in courts in Pennsylvania, Colorado, California, Michigan and Massachusetts.
Ryan attended DePaul University College of Law (Class of 2013) where he received the Law Merit Scholarship . During law school, Ryan worked in the legal departments for two large corporations. In his final year of law school, Ryan worked at O’Hagan Meyer during the day while taking night classes and has been with the firm ever since. For his undergraduate education, Ryan attended Arizona State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies.
