Shaida Shahinfar is an Associate Attorney in the San Francisco Office of O'Hagan Meyer and a member of the Labor & Employment practice group.
Prior to joining O'Hagan Meyer, Shaida gained valuable experience through various roles in the legal field, including positions at a personal injury firm and a financial services company, developing her skills in litigation and financial technology law. Shaida also served as an Honors Intern at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where she learned about federal law enforcement and regulatory compliance. Additionally, her experience as a paralegal at the Federal Public Defender's office provided her with a strong foundation in federal criminal defense work.
Shaida earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where she served as Symposium Editor for the UC Law SF International Law Review. Shaida also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Compliance & Risk Management. Her commitment to the legal profession extends beyond practice, as she currently serves as a Board Member of the Iranian American Bar Association - NorCal Chapter, where she contributes to the advancement of the Iranian American legal community.
Shaida is fluent in both English and Persian, enabling her to serve a diverse client base and bring a multicultural perspective to her practice.
