Lucas Sun is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on defending corporations in matters involving premises/product liability, retail and hospitality law, commercial disputes, and consumer fraud/deceptive practices lawsuits. His primary focus is ensuring his Fortune 500 clients are provided with the highest quality representation in litigating matters in both State and Federal Court.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lucas worked as an IT professional at Fermilab. As such, he is able to leverage this background into the cyber side of law. For example, he has litigated/defended matters involving the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. He has also provided coverage analysis for insurers concerning claimed losses related to various types of cyber crime. In addition, he has provided advice and consultation related to e-sports contracts and agreements, including assisting in appeals for bans and/or suspensions. Lucas has first-hand experience in the growing realm of the Metaverse, with experience in assisting individuals obtain affiliate and partnership status on streaming platforms such as Twitch.tv.
