    Ken Stout combines general commercial litigation with a strategic focus on the construction industry. He has advised clients on drafting and negotiating contracts, subcontracts and related agreements; assisted with the evaluation of payment claims and defenses; managed numerous mechanic’s lien filings in Virginia; and managed discovery, e-discovery and pretrial motions on complex construction litigation matters.

    Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Robert F. Kennedy Fellowship law clerk to the Honorable John A. Gibney, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division. Throughout his third year of law school, Ken interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Richmond, prosecuting cases in Magistrate and District Court and assisting with white collar criminal matters.
