Kayla Humenick is a litigation associate in O’Hagan Meyer’s Richmond, Virginia office. After obtaining her undergraduate and law degrees as a scholarship student, Kayla was commissioned as an officer and Judge Advocate in the United States Army JAG Corps. During her time in service, Kayla served as general counsel to the installation Commanding General and advised commanders as a military justice advisor in areas of increasing responsibility. She also served as first-chair trial counsel in a variety of trials, including felony-level offenses. At Fort Hood, Texas, her last duty station, she served as special victims’ counsel, representing victims of sexual assault during the court martial proceedings.
Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Kayla was a trial lawyer with a leading products liability law firm in Richmond. Kayla is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
