Kate Kosartes is an Associate in the Chicago O’Hagan Meyer office. She is a litigator with a diversified practice that encompasses nursing home and medical malpractice defense, employment disputes, commercial litigation and professional defense.
Kate successfully represented many clients in the private sector prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer. She has represented clients in commercial contract disputes, personal injury matters, immigration applications and residential real estate transactions. In her spare time, she is the coach of Chicago-Kent’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team which she founded and competed on while in law school. She regularly uses her litigation advocacy skills as well as her negotiation and mediation experience to ensure her clients obtain the best resolution possible while keeping in mind their bottom line and preferences.

Education and Admissions
Kate received her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2013. While at Chicago-Kent Kate was a member of the on the nationally ranked trial advocacy team, earned the Michael J. Angarola Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and was a teaching assistant for the Intensive Trial Advocacy class. In her 3L year she became a co-founder of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team where she competed in the ABA Regional Competition and placed first with her partner.
