Julie Azevedo is a partner in the San Francisco office of O’Hagan Meyer. For the past thirty years, Julie has represented and defended businesses, individuals, and public entities in various types of complex civil litigation cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries, through mediation, arbitration and trial. Julie is a skillful litigator who represents businesses and individuals in labor and employment matters. Julie displays both creativity and tenacity developing strategic plans to litigate or resolve cases by engaging with counsel and mediators in her efforts to obtain the best and most efficient results for her clients.
Julie has tried civil cases to both a jury and a judge in California and Washington and has handled binding and non-binding arbitrations.
Julie has conducted training seminars relating to prohibited employment conduct, investigation of claims of wrongful conduct, and documentation of employment actions. She has provided seminars on claims handling and insurance regulations for insurance claims departments. Julie also has presented seminars for the Defense Research Institute on insurance fraud.
