Bo Kyung Kim is an associate in the San Francisco office of O’Hagan Meyer and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group and the Korean Business Practice Group. Ms. Kim specializes in wage and hour class action and representative action, including complex class action litigations involving unions, collective bargaining agreements, and alternative workweek schedules. She also has experience in defending companies and individuals in discrimination, retaliation, and workplace harassment claims.
Ms. Kim is fluent in Korean and specializes in providing legal counseling to domestic and international Korean companies in litigation and compliance matters. From years of working with various international Korean companies, she has in-depth experience in providing consultation for international companies whose parent company or HQ is located in Korea.
Outside of work, Ms. Kim actively volunteers for Korean communities in the Bay Area. In 2022, Ms. Kim was appointed as Vice President of Korean American Bar Association of Northern California, becoming one of the youngest appointed vice presidents in the Association. Her community work includes participation of pro-bono clinics, presenting Labor & Employment Law Seminars to various Korean American organizations and government entities, including the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco, and more.
