Sukrat Baber is an associate at O’Hagan Meyer’s Chicago office. He started his career as a litigator at a plaintiff’s side personal injury and worker’s compensation firm in Indianapolis. During that time, Sukrat gained experience in mediations, deposing adverse witnesses and defending depositions, and arguing motions in court. Sukrat represented clients in both Indiana and Illinois courts, having obtained both licenses in his first year of practice.
Since joining O’Hagan Meyer, Sukrat has focused on class actions, real estate litigation, and insurance coverage. Sukrat utilizes his multi-state licensure to help clients in Illinois and Indiana.
Sukrat received a JD with a concentration in International and Comparative Law from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review, where he and his staff published four Issues/books for the first time in the Journal’s 23-year history. Prior to law school Sukrat received his Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Philosophy at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
