Professional Overview

Katherine Plominski-Gloede has extensive litigation experience, representing both businesses and individuals in a variety of matters ranging from breach of contract to professional malpractice.  She has handled all aspects of litigation and tried cases in both Federal and State Court.  Katherine has taken and defended dozens of federal and state depositions, and obtained successful verdicts for her clients in bench and jury trials.   Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Katherine worked as Corporate Counsel for a telecommunications company.

During her final year of law school, Katherine commenced working full-time in a unique position, at the City of Madison Mayor’s Office, known in the community as the “bar czar”.  In this capacity, she was responsible for advising and overseeing hundreds of businesses with liquor licenses.


Katherine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois Champaign in 2003.  She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin in 2008.  While in law school, Katherine competed on behalf of University of Wisconsin in both Moot Court and Mock Trial.  She also participated in several clinical programs through the award-winning Frank J. Remington Center including the Family Law/Restorative Justice Project and the Police-Prosecution Project.
